“I’ve always worked in the restaurant industry and I’m getting too old for it. I’m currently a server and the work isn’t steady enough. I have two kids, one is 21 and in college. As much as I’ve pushed education on them, I’ve put it off for me, and they’re pushing back on me to get another job. Now, it’s my time. I want to go to school but finances are a concern. I hope to get assistance to become a certified nursing assistant. That would get my foot in the door to a career in healthcare.”
